Que 1 : What is T-Rex Jobs and how is it different? Ans : T-Rex Jobs is a sophisticated job portal providing a platform for illustrious candidates to keep in touch with the ever-changing market opportunities and remain aware of their potential market value. It is customized for professionals who are not on an active job hunt, but want to keep abreast of the job market.

Que 2 : Why should I create an account? Ans : Creating an account lets you sit back and stay informed on job opportunities that you qualify for without spending your time going through endless classifieds offering little value for your time. By entering your location, type of commitment (full time/part time) and salary expectation, you will be notified of potential job openings matching your requirements and even 'introduced' to some of the most sought after employers in the country.
Que 3 : Does it cost anything? Ans : For candidates, nothing. For employers, yes. To activate an employer account, you need to get in touch with one of our sales representatives.
Que 4 : Can I search for job listings? Ans : No. Employers cannot post public job openings on the portal. It is by matching keywords, preferences and such criteria that the portal generates a list of matches for suitable employment for both the candidates and the employers. Once a match is found, the candidate is notified of the job opportunity via e-mail, with links to a full job description and an invitation to apply for the job opening.
Que 5 : Can my resume be viewed by employers? Ans : No, your resume is kept private and is used only to filter job opportunities suitable for you. This is done through our Matching Correlation Algorithm. However, once you are notified of a match via e-mail, you can always forward your resume to the specific employer matching your requisites and preferences.

Que 6 : What is this Matching Correlation Algorithm? Ans : Employers can only find candidates through keywords, necessary criteria and other preferences. It is impractical to expect a candidate matching the employer's/job's needs a 100%. This is where the Matching Correlation Algorithm comes in. This algorithm assigns a percentage to each employer-candidate match, a higher percentage naturally meaning a better requirement fulfillment. Employers can stop worrying about less relevant matches by simply specifying the minimum correlation percentage needed to notify a candidate of a potential opportunity.
If you are still a bit confused, then once you login and begin to receive job notifications, it will become much more intuitive.
